Muddy Boots is a guiding and gear rental company based in NY. I had the amazing opportunity of working with the awesome people at Muddy Boots to help them officially launch (Feb 2019). I designed their logo, print material, website, and social media graphics/animations.
I was brought in by Stept Studios to help with the campaign of Oakley ARO® Helmets. I was responsible for juxtaposing and refining the layout of the helmets and typography while working with a storyboard/sketch artist, copy writers and creative director. These are some select pieces from that campaign.
The North Face brought me in to design & animate a series of animations for their Instagram Story. These are a couple of select pieces.
A few select 3D pieces I’ve designed while practicing different lighting techniques and new abstract ways to present product mock-ups for clients.
These are select pieces from a range of decks I designed for different clients throughout my time spent working with Stept Studios.
While working with MWG I helped provide direction and design creative for a new look and feel of e-commerce emails. I designed dynamic templates that included style guides for both desktop and mobile. Before and during the timeline of every project there are constructive meetings with team members where we discuss strategy and the user experience.
I was brought in by Zumiez Private Label to offer my perspective on a few of their brands. These are some select pieces.
A few select animations I’ve designed while experimenting with different techniques, processes, software and mediums.
Inspired by nature, film photography and archival films I designed a series of experimental poster + album covers. These are some select pieces.
La Cumbre (the summit) is an award winning film by REI made possible by Stept Studios. Working with editors and the director I was provided direction to produce and design a title animation that had a hand-written journal feel. After deciding on a style of one of my hand drawn fonts, we then implemented the style into a consistent family for additional uses. See 1:16 for animation.
Throughout University and the first few years of my design career I've always used a Wacom tablet paired with Adobe CC, however I wanted to explore what was possible with the use of different tablets. The following illustrations are done through Procreate, my iPad + my Apple Pencil — and are an exploration of using a different drawing tablet/tools/software in the name of improving as an artist + designer.
A select collection of illustrations with a focus on abstract lines.
